Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence.
- Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the nursing department.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Work closely with the medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external healthcare organizations and stakeholders.
- Provide professional nursing care to patients before, during, and after diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition, reporting changes to the medical team.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, including obtaining consent and explaining procedures.
- Assist doctors and technicians during diagnostic imaging and tests.
- Handle and maintain diagnostic equipment as needed.
- Educate patients about their conditions, test results, and aftercare instructions.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and test results.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a diagnostic or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
