Summary




  • We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in the oil and gas industry.

  • This strategic role requires a seasoned HR leader who can align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive performance and engagement.

  • The HR Manager will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and compliance while fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.



Key Responsibilities




  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Develop and execute staffing strategies tailored to project needs, partner with recruitment channels, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

  • Performance & Talent Management: Drive a culture of high performance, succession planning, and development through strategic HR interventions and performance management processes.

  • Employee Engagement & Change Management: Lead change initiatives and employee engagement diagnostics to improve the overall employee experience on the various projects.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent while ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Strategic HR Development: Align HR strategies with business goals, provide HR leadership across core areas, and support business leaders with guidance on workforce management.

  • Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Address employee relations issues, uphold labor law compliance, and support conflict resolution.

  • HR Data & Reporting: Leverage HR data for strategic decision-making and insights that support business goals.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sciences, or related field (Master's Degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 15 years HR experience, with at least 10 years in a managerial role within oil and gas, including various types of employment contracts, such as field development project, onshore and offshore, etc.

  • Membership in HR professional bodies such as CIPM or CIPD is preferred.



Skills:




  • Strategic HR expertise, leadership, and team management.

  • Proficient in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements specific to the oil and gas sector.



Working Conditions:




  • Based in Lagos with occasional travel. The role may require work beyond standard hours to meet project deadlines.
