  • You will work independently and with teams, leveraging your advanced troubleshooting skills, project coordination, and technical knowledge to support plant and client operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and maintain plant electrical data to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance, driving the optimization of electrical systems.

  • Ensure the uninterrupted and reliable power supply to plant operations, overseeing electrical load management and fault analysis.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and panels both independently and within a team, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Lead initiatives to ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of critical electrical systems, including Black State Diesel Generators, electric motors, motor control panels, and breakers.

  • Oversee and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control systems, particularly for the compression and decanting processes of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

  • Independently or with a team, coordinate and execute electrical installation projects for both plant and client stations, ensuring all electrical work meets industry standards.

  • Perform commissioning and decommissioning of Pressure Reduction and Metering Stations (PRMS) at client stations, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

  • Collaborate with third parties, contractors, and internal teams to service electrical equipment and install PRMS systems, ensuring all electrical projects are completed on time and to specification.

  • Take the lead in troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing instrumentation and control devices used for measuring and controlling pressure, flow, temperature, and level on compressors and PRMS.

  • Provide technical assistance to third-party teams for the integration of instrumentation and controls into larger systems, especially during calibration and installation.

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced instrumentation and control systems for more efficient plant operations.

  • Work closely with maintenance teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring continuous plant operation.

  • Mentor and provide support to operators and maintenance staff, offering guidance on the effective use and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interface) systems to ensure seamless integration and efficient user interaction with automated systems.

  • Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of control panels for new electrical equipment and devices, ensuring all systems meet safety standards and functional requirements.

  • Apply industry best practices to ensure safety in the design and operation of electrical panels and associated devices, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
