JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated Relationship Manager to join our Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving Asset Under Management (AUM) growth through effective client prospecting, conversion, and retention. Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional relationship management, conducting in-depth research, preparing comprehensive asset management and investment reports, and contributing to the development and enhancement of our products and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Client Prospecting and Conversion
- Identify and target high-potential clients to grow the Asset Under Management (AUM).
- Develop and implement strategies for effective client conversion.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored asset management solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring timely and professional responses to client inquiries.
- Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service and fostering trust.
Asset Management and Investment Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver detailed asset management and investment performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Preparation of reports as may be required by the line manager.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance in all reporting materials.
Product Development and Enhancement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the company’s products to meet client demands and market trends.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing product offerings.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including investment analysts and portfolio managers, to deliver optimal client outcomes.
- This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a proactive approach to achieving business objectives.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related course from a reputable University.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Team player.
- Ability to think critically with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent quantitative skills with an interest in Analytics/Data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Capable of handling multiple client accounts simultaneously while working in a high-pressure environment.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in relationship management.
