We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic with expertise in repairing Japanese car brands. If you are proficient with diagnostic tools, have the ability to work independently, and hold a Certificate of Freedom (or equivalent credentials), this is the perfect role for you.

Role Overview

The Auto Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain Japanese vehicles with a high level of precision. You will be responsible for identifying mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are returned to clients in top condition. The ability to work independently and deliver exceptional results is critical to this role.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs

• Use modern diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical faults in Japanese cars.


• Perform repairs and maintenance, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, transmissions, and electrical components.

Preventative Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles operate efficiently.


• Recommend necessary services or part replacements based on vehicle condition.

Independent Work

• Work autonomously to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues efficiently without supervision.


• Manage repair timelines to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and with accuracy.

Quality Control

• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure all problems are resolved and the vehicle is roadworthy.


• Maintain high standards of quality to ensure customer satisfaction.

Documentation

• Maintain detailed repair logs, diagnostic reports, and service records.


• Communicate effectively with management regarding work progress and additional repair needs.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 6+ years of proven experience as an auto mechanic with a strong focus on Japanese vehicles (e.g., Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda).


• Extensive hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and vehicle scan software.

Certification:

• Certificate of Freedom (or equivalent certification showing proven skills and professional credibility).

Skills:

• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.


• Ability to work independently and take initiative.


• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficient with modern automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.


• Familiarity with Japanese car systems, parts, and maintenance protocols.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong communication and organizational skills.


• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
