The Area Sales Manager in a bank is responsible for managing sales operations within a specific geographic area, with the goal of increasing sales and profitability
Responsibilities
Establishing sales goals and quotas for the area
Leading, motivating, and training sales executives
Fostering strong relationships with existing and potential clients
Reviewing sales data and creating reports for senior management
Using business intelligence tools to provide sales insights to marketing and sales staff
Identifying opportunities for business growth and expanding the company's market presence
Ensuring smooth delivery of products and services by coordinating with other teams
Traveling regionally to meet with sales teams and other sales managers
Interviewing and training new sales employees
Job Requirements
B.Sc Degree in in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an ASM in a commercial or investment bank.
Must possess a strong track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
