Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks used in our operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify any issues or maintenance needs.


• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine the best course of action for repair.


• Repair or replace faulty parts as needed.


• Test repaired trucks to ensure proper functioning and performance.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.


• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements

Education

• OND or Trade certification in mechanical engineering or a related field


• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a similar industry.

Skills

• Proven experience as a truck mechanic


• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in trucks and heavy duty vehicles.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


• Good communication skills.


• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
