Job Responsibilities



As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:




  • Organizing the equipment and manpower necessary to complete the project.

  • Coordinating and supervising workers on the construction site.

  • Providing schedules for workers.

  • Assigning tasks to construction laborers.

  • Liaising with contractors, managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain coordinated.

  • Analyzing drawings to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.

  • Maintaining safety and quality standards.

  • Keeping detailed records of construction site activities.

  • Accomplish project goals by defining scope and purpose of the project, determining required resources, allocating resources, establishing protocols and standards, scheduling staff, resolving design problems, evaluating deadline estimates and adjusting as needed, and implementing change orders



Qualifications and Skills



To be qualify for this role, you should possess the following:




  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or any other related field.

  • Proven experience working in the construction industry for a minimum of Two (2) years.

  • Sound knowledge of construction processes, materials, building codes, and construction safety regulations.

  • Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

  • The ability to interpret blueprints.

  • Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

  • Outstanding leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • [Certification/Professional Membership] (e.g., COREN, PMI, etc.) is an added advantage.

  • Must be residing in Abuja, Nigeria.
