The company is seeking to hire an innovative Business Development Executive to develop, implement, and execute strategic business development plans for the entire organization to grow its revenue, find and develop new business opportunities, and expand the brand.
The Business Development Executive’s expertise must be such that it translates into overseeing client relationship management and sales and increased business growth
Key Responsibilities
Gather the right team to reach business goals.
Assist customers and third-party partnerships with new opportunities.
Organize training plans to address the gaps within the organization.
Develop ideas for business development and brand expansion for the organization.
Evaluate and optimize marketing and pricing strategies.
Assist with developing and managing the budget of the business development department and making sure that the budget spent is delivering a return on investment.
Keep sales strategies, business plans, and PR strategies working effectively.
Keep an eye on the competition and make sure that the business is at the forefront of the industry.
Increase and promote brand awareness, for example, at festivals, trade shows, and major industry-related events, and increase market share.
Regularly analyze data to evaluate the success of business development efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand and business exposure.
Assist with managing and coordinating the business development department's team members to ensure that deadlines are met and that they complete all necessary tasks.
Represent the team to cross-functional groups, including sales, product/ service management, operations, or customer support.
Assist with updating the senior management regularly on the progress of business development activities and reporting on the results.
Assist with preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, communication, or other similar fields.
Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
2 years + experience in Business Development, and up to 1 year’ experience as a manager.
Experience in an ISP or a similar organization in the telecommunications sector.
An extensive knowledge of business development and marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
A very good understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
Exceptional analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Impeccable creative and innovative thinking abilities.
Excellent budget-management skills and proficiency.
