Job Summary:




  • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Officer to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth and expansion of our microfinance services.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and marketing, with a proven track record of success in the financial services industry.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including small business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the microfinance industry.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to design and launch new financial products and services that meet the needs of our target market.

  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote our financial products and services to existing and potential clients.

  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on business development activities, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.



Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree: In Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing in the Microfinance sector.



Skills:




  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  •  Proven sales and marketing skills.

  •  Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
