Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Machine Operator to join our production team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.


• This position involves ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, monitoring production lines, and maintaining a high standard of quality in the production of precision cylinders.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, and other equipment used in the manufacturing of cylinders.


• Monitor machine operations to ensure they are running smoothly and within specifications.


• Conduct routine checks, troubleshoot, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.


• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.


• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Record production data, machine logs, and any maintenance performed on machinery.


• Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.


• Perform preventive maintenance and assist in machine repairs when needed.


• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues to avoid production delays.


• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree


• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precision cylinder or metalworking industries.


• Strong knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.


• Proficiency with CNC programming and setting up machines.


• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Familiarity with safety protocols and proper machine handling.


• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends if necessary.


• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
