Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu, recipes, and guest preferences.


• Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients.


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.


• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the relevant personnel.


• Adhere to portion control standards and minimize food wastage.


• Assist in the creation of new menu items and contribute to menu planning.


• Follow all safety and sanitation policies during food preparation.


• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.

Qualifications

• A minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).


• Proven experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.


• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.


• Creativity and a passion for culinary arts.


• Team player with excellent communication skills.


• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
