Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process for drugs, consumables, and medical supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels to ensure stock availability.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Collaborate with medical and pharmacy teams to meet the hospital's needs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-effective options.
- Track and report on procurement spending and savings.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacology or Pharmacy.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the healthcare sector, with a focus on purchasing drugs and consumables.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and procurement standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solvingskills.
