- Oversee and manage warehouse operations for agricultural commodities such as Raw Cocoa, Paddy Rice, Sesame seeds, Soybeans, ensuring compliance with internal and international quality standards.
- Supervise and perform quality analyses on incoming agricultural products according to established standards and methods.
- Ensure proper stacking, arrangement, and labeling of commodities by lot, date received, and quality results for easy traceability.
- Maintain and enforce Good Housekeeping (GHK), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the warehouse.
- Develop and implement efficient stacking and storage procedures to optimize space and maintain product integrity across diverse commodity types.
- Coordinate the safe reception, distribution, and storage of agricultural commodities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of movements.
- Ensure accurate completion of standard warehousing documents and timely handover to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with the logistics coordinator to ensure seamless operations across the supply chain.
- Oversee and document Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRP) as required.
Supervise loading operations for outbound shipments to customers, ensuring compliance with quality and logistical requirements.
- Monitor and maintain environmental conditions (e.g., room temperature, relative humidity) to safeguard the quality of stored commodities such as grains, nuts, and seeds.
- Analyze and report inventory data, ensuring accurate collection, entry, and management of warehouse metrics.
- Provide technical support to warehousing teams and train staff on quality and operational standards.
- Develop and maintain efficient record-keeping systems for tracking and auditing inventory for various commodity types.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the agricultural or commodity sector (e.g. cocoa, sesame, grains).
- Strong knowledge of warehousing practices, quality assurance, and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with international standards for handling and storage of agricultural commodities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and data analysis tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and train warehouse teams.
