Overview
- The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving initiatives that increase revenue and market share for Lextorah.
- The role demands a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the educational services market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitors’ strategies.
- Analyze data to develop insights for business growth opportunities.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Set and achieve growth targets, including revenue and customer acquisition goals.
Partnership Development:
- Identify and establish partnerships with schools, corporate organizations, and other institutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize mutual benefits.
Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Develop strategies to attract new clients for language courses and retain existing ones.
- Develop strategies to attract new clients for online degree courses and retain existing ones
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction.
Promotion and Branding:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Lextorah’s services through campaigns, events, and digital platforms.
- Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility.
Proposal Writing and Presentation:
- Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and reports for potential clients and stakeholders.
- Deliver compelling pitches to secure contracts and partnerships.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track business development activities and provide regular progress reports to management.
- Analyze the effectiveness of strategies and recommend improvements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including education, HR, and process assurance, to ensure smooth implementation of partnerships and client projects.
- Provide feedback to improve course offerings and service delivery.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Implement innovative approaches to increase student enrollments and client base.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Experience in the education sector is an advantage.
