Job Description
The job role involves the development and delivery of approved NDT training. It also requires training expertise in the following programs.
- Eddy Current Testing
- Ultrasonic testing - UT
- Magnetic particle testing - MPT/MT
- Liquid penetrant testing - PT/DPT
- Radiographic testing - RT
- Visual testing - VT
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and deliver NDT Training as set forth in the approved curriculum guidelines according to required standards for Non-Destructive Testing training.
- Manage class and practical laboratory (lab) activities to maximize the learning process.
- Ensure the development of up-to-date course materials and teaching slides (if required)
- Liaise with training Coordinator to ensure smooth course delivery.
- Administer Assessment
- Adhere to company’s training schedules and no. of expected course delivery man-hours.
- To maintain accurate attendance records
- To conduct student evaluations in accordance with the Institute’s policies
- To work with the training coordinator to ensure improvements in curriculum.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree (HND/BSc)
- ASNT NDT Certificates
- Minimum of Three years’ experience in an NDT Instructor role
- Ability to deliver other courses will be an added advantage.
