Job Description

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with unloading luggage from vehicles.


• Escort guests to their rooms, handle luggage, and explain room features and hotel amenities.


• Respond to guest inquiries and special requests courteously.


• Organize and store luggage securely for early arrivals and late departures.


• Deliver packages, laundry, and room service items to guest rooms.


• Ensure the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas are clean and presentable.


• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department promptly.


• Assist with setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as required.


• Assist guests during emergencies by following hotel protocols.


• Ensure walkways and entrances are clear and hazard-free.


• Assist guests with transportation needs, including calling taxis.


• Address minor guest complaints or refer them to the Guest Relations Officer.


• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / HND / OND / BSc qualification.


• 1-2 years prior experience in a hospitality environment is needed.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Friendly, professional demeanour with a guest-focused attitude.


• Physically fit and able to lift heavy luggage repeatedly.


• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.


• Knowledge of hotel operations and local attractions is an advantage.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced hotel setting with regular guest interaction.


• Standing for extended periods and lifting/carrying luggage of various weights.
