Job Summary



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Executive to join our team. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the company's procurement activities. This includes sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.

  • Obtain quotes and compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates. Prepare and process purchase orders.

  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous cost improvements and supply assurance.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to manage stock and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Handle discrepancies and resolve issues with orders and deliveries.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis and supplier performance.

  • Analyze market conditions to determine current and future material availability and cost trends.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).

  • Experience with ERP systems.

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Executive or in a similar role.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in procurement soft ware and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
