Primary Responsibilities




  • Oversees the general activities and functions of the Department in all the stations, and be involved in the daily running of the Department for checks and balances.

  • Participates in the development and management of annual operating budgets and provides fiscal input to the Company.

  • Demonstration and application of knowledge of budget preparation, cost estimation, monitoring and fiscal management principles and procedures.

  • Primarily responsible for any failed standard and low performance of the Department in all the stations.

  • Creation and presentation of the overall plan, strategy and key development issues of the Department in all the stations.

  • Monitors, motivates, and ensures the members in the Department in all the stations perform at optimal level; allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.

  • Overall leadership and management role that enhances the output of the Department in all the stations.

  • Effective use of e-mail for communication to report daily activities, progress on works and events of that Department.

  • Clearly communicates to the entire members of the Company particularly the Group Managers and carry them along in the activities of his Department.

  • Ensures that schedule for shifts and works are done as and when due and properly communicated to team members.Supervises all outsourced works and ensures the job is done in line with the terms of engagement and industry standards. .

  • Internal and externalcommunications: Develops, composes, distributes, and implements polices to enhance the efficiency of the communications department(Programme, Online Team)and to further develop the building and maintainingof apositive corporate brand.

  • Brand Perception and Clientele: Supports the Head of Marketing to develop brand strategies for new and existingClients /Brands. Collaboratewith the Programmes and Marketing team to ensureplans for all core campaignsare carried out for success.

  • Ensures all proposed and approved contents are current, relevant and up to industry trends/demand. Continuously creating, fostering and maintaining a consistent brand image and identityaccording to laid down guidelines

  • Other duties as may be assigned.



Qualifications




  • Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 5-12 years experience.
