Job Description

• Develop and implement effective strategies to attract new depositors and retain existing ones.


• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for deposit growth.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including market leaders,and businesses.


• Train, monitor and supervise a team of deposit mobilisation officers.


• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.


• Prepare regular reports on deposit performance and present findings to management.


• Identify and address any challenges or issues affecting deposit mobilization.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to deposit mobilization.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all deposit mobilization activities.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in deposit mobilization in the microfinance industry.


• At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team of deposit mobilization officers.


• Strong understanding of deposit products and services, including savings accounts, fixed deposits, and other deposit instruments.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


• Strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service.
