Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement crop management strategies to maximize yield and quality.


• Oversee planting, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting operations.


• Conduct soil analysis and develop soil management plans.


• Utilize mechanized farming equipment and technologies to enhance farm efficiency.


• Monitor crop health and implement corrective measures as needed.


• Collaborate with farm management and labor teams to ensure smooth operations.


• Keep accurate records of farm activities, input usage, and crop performance.


• Stay updated on the latest agricultural research and technologies to continuously improve farm practices.


• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in arable crop farming, with a focus on maize and soybeans.


• Proven experience managing large-scale farms (minimum 2,000 hectares).


• Strong knowledge of mechanized farming techniques and equipment.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and leadership skills.
