Job Description
The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing customer relationships through technology, driving team performance, and ensuring revenue targets are consistently met. The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution to streamline sales processes, manage policies, and contribute to business growth by leveraging data and customer insights.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Drive customer optimization initiatives using technology and CRM tools to enhance the efficiency of the sales team.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor and manage key customer accounts to ensure continuous engagement and growth.
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Generate insights through sales data analysis for informed business decision-making.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts to optimize efficiency and eliminate waste.
- Track performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on sales trends and performance.
Policy and Process Management:
- Develop and implement clear sales processes to drive team output and profitability.
- Regularly update sales policies in line with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all established sales policies and procedures.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, mine, and interpret sales data to identify trends and areas of opportunity.
- Project and model data to support the business transformation agenda.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
External Relationship Management:
- Collaborate effectively with external stakeholders to ensure seamless sales operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and vendors to enhance sales capabilities.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years in a similar role, with at least 1 year in people management.
- Excellent communication, data reporting and analysis, critical thinking, CRM proficiency, time management, and adaptability.
- Hands-on experience with sales and commercial tools is essential. Proficiency in CRM software is a must.
