Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join our educational institution in Benin City, Nigeria. As a Business Studies Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future business leaders of Nigeria by providing high-quality instruction and fostering a dynamic learning environment.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover various aspects of business studies, including economics, entrepreneurship, and management principles


• Utilize innovative teaching methods and educational technology to enhance student learning experiences


• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing their diverse learning needs


• Organize and supervise business-related extracurricular activities, such as entrepreneurship clubs or business competitions


• Stay updated on current trends in business and education to ensure curriculum relevance


• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field; 


• Proven teaching experience in business studies or a related subject


• Strong knowledge of business concepts, economics, and entrepreneurship


• Familiarity with the Nigerian business environment and educational system


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement techniques


• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning


• Skilled in using educational technology and learning management systems


• Ability to create and implement effective assessment and evaluation strategies


• Fluency in English
