Job Description

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language lessons that cater to different skill levels.


• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational standards and objectives of the school.


• Teach students about Yoruba culture, traditions, and literature to enhance their cultural awareness and appreciation.


• Prepare students for internal and external examinations in Yoruba.


• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.Organize and participate in cultural events and activities that promote Yoruba heritage and traditions within the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Yoruba Language, Education, or a related field.


• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Primary school setting.


• Strong knowledge of Yoruba language, culture, and literature.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to create a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.


• Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.


• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to understand and appreciate the Yoruba language and culture.
