Position Overview




  • The Store and Inventory Team Lead will be responsible for managing inventory operations to ensure 100% accuracy, reduce stock-related risks, and optimize storage practices. This role will involve overseeing daily stock activities, minimizing damages, preventing stock-outs, and ensuring proper compliance with inventory management standards such as FIFO.



Key Responsibilities




  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure they align with physical stock levels through routine checks and audits.

  • Achieve accurate monthly stock assessments and collaborate with internal auditors and accountants for timely reporting.

  • Minimize stock-outs to prevent lost sales and ensure consistent product availability.

  • Reduce occurrences of damaged goods by implementing proper handling procedures and ensuring product quality.

  • Achieve high accuracy in incoming inventory to prevent discrepancies during stock receiving processes.

  • Enforce compliance with First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles to reduce waste and prevent product expiry.

  • Optimize inventory levels to reduce carrying costs and improve operational efficiency.

  • Conduct monthly stock audits and prepare comprehensive reports on raw materials and finished goods for management.

  • Ensure daily stock activities are documented and submitted to the General Manager.

  • Lead and train store personnel to comply with inventory control standards and procedures.

  • Ensure the store environment is organized, safe, and adheres to company policies.



Requirements

Education:




  • Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.



Experience:




  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG sector.



Technical Skills:




  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory optimization techniques and reporting processes.



Soft Skills:




  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask.



Work Environment:




  • Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

  • Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours when required.
