Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the inventory storage facility.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including stock levels, receipts, and dispatches.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage, and theft.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Manage procurement of supplies, ensuring timely restocking of essential materials.
- Coordinate with event planners and decorators to fulfill inventory requirements for each project.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory usage trends and provide reports to management.
- Train and supervise store assistants or inventory staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety and storage regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in event planning, decoration, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
