Job Summary




  • The role holder should be able to prepare scripts and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches client’s brief and vision.

Job Responsibilities

A typical day on the job will involve:




  • Write or adapt a story into a script.

  • Create visually stunning video assets and other video content with high visual impact for clients and other projects.

  • Conceptualize ideas in specifications to client’s needs.

  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation

  • Capture studio-quality photographs and video

  • Collaborate with the creative team to concept and develop language between script and visual plan.

  • Organize and assemble video segments to deliver continuous sequential story of specified length.

  • Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy.

  • Videography in-house and on the field as assigned.

  • Work to a brief, develop and pitch creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet client’s needs.

  • Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.

  • Perform video and audio editing based on story sequence and continuity.

  • Ensure logical sequencing running of video/film.

  • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.

  • Event coverage as required.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Creative Art, Cinematography, or related field from a reputable institution.

  • Conversant with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc. and a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as it applies video postproduction.

  • Must be a creative mind and possess a great storytelling skill.

  • Demonstrate video editing ability with a strong portfolio

  • Great sense of precision and attention to detail

  • Good time management skills

  • Experience working on branded video content is preferred.

  • Great videography/ video editing portfolio

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to keep the team up to date on project timelines.

  • Organized, goal-oriented, and can drive results while multi-tasking priorities.
