Job Summary



The HSE Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health, safety, and environmental policies and practices across the organization. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in health and safety laws, incident management, and risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of safety.



Key Responsibilities




  • Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify potential risks.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, prepare reports, and communicate findings to management.

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.

  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for various operations and processes.

  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks to employee safety and environmental impact.

  • Provide recommendations for risk reduction and process improvements.



Required




  • In-depth knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and standards

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are required.

  • 5–7 years of experience in HSE management
