Job Summary




  • Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance of their water and waste water treatment facilities.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for environmental sustainability.



Responsibilities




  • Monitor and control the daily operations of the ETP and WTP, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize water and wastewater flow.

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment breakdowns and optimize plant efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Monitor water and wastewater quality parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Implement corrective actions to improve water and wastewater quality.

  • Collect and analyze data on plant performance, energy consumption, and chemical usage.

  • Monitor and control operational costs, including energy consumption, and chemical usage.

  • Generate regular reports on plant operations and maintenance activities.

  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line managers



Qualifications




  • Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in ETP/WTP operations, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of water treatment principles, processes, and regulations.

  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate team members.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
