Responsibilities




  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the company's fleets.

  • Ensure all vehicles & Bikes are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and meet safety standards.

  • Develop efficient and cost-effective route plans

  • Continuously optimize routes to enhance vehicle efficiency and reduce transit time.

  • Implement and oversee a periodic preventive maintenance program for all fleet vehicles & bikes

  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external service providers to ensure timely repairs and inspections.

  • Stay updated on local and national transportation regulations.

  • Ensure that all fleet drivers comply with relevant laws and regulations in Nigeria.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise drivers to ensure they adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

  • Develop and manage budgets for fleets, including fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and vehicle acquisitions.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize operational expenses.

  • Generate regular reports on fleet performance, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and on-time delivery metrics.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Technical & Professional Requirements




  • Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND /Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years of experience.

  • Current trends in the transport and logistics industry

  • Good project management knowledge

  • Knowledge of business processes

  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to evaluate and appropriately address complaint

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of PowerBI and other relevant software and applies it to work assignments.

  • Good knowledge of vehicle tracking system

  • Good written and oral skills

  • Attention to details

  • Analytical skills

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Must be a good team player

Salary

N150,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
