Description




  • Perform hydrocarbon accounting of oil, gas and water flows from OML 58, NOPL, OML 99, OML 100, OML 102 stations.

  • Ensure adequate balance and appropriate HC allocation from the facilities, including water and gas injection flows contributing to pressure maintenance of the wells.

  • Monitor the production per asset on NPDMS (production data management system)

  • Process daily production & injection data ensuring data integrity and quality control of PI/NPDMS generated reports

  • Compile and accurately record the production statistical data (including lifting/storage tank volumes)

  • Maintain records of production shortfall events, classification, and allocation in accordance with CR OT OPP 100 while following up on all unplanned shutdown events and corrective actions

  • Provide first level support to the Sites and base personnel on use of NPDMS

  • Prepare special reports regarding production & injection volumes as may be required

  • Prepare and coordinate for routine end-of-month stock-taking activity by NUPRC on OML58

  • Reconciliation of Onshore oil injection into SPDC pipelines for transportation to Bonny Terminal

  • Reconciliation of Offshore sites production with FSO Terminal volume receipts

  • Prepare final monthly production reports after reconciliation of OML58 production with SPDC

  • Prepare and Issue all periodical production reports to partners including but not limited to NUIMS, NUPRC, SPDC, etc. considering deadlines and contractual obligations.

  • Communicate and resolve with Metering & laboratory teams any metering and lab analysis discrepancies

  • Carry out any other duties/projects that may be assigned to him/her by the Hierarchy.

  • Participate in crude and gas reconciliation with the NUPRC, NUIMS, SPDC etc.

  • Accuracy of data and information while working within strict and tight deadlines

  • Applicable Government policies and several reporting requests from Government agencies

  • Good relationship with Government agencies while observing COMPANY’S Compliance rules.

  • Familiarize self with TEPNG emergency procedures and report to the Manager any incident, unsafe act or operation.

  • Carry out assigned duties safely according to TEPNG HSE procedures in such a manner to minimize/ eliminate unsafe exposure to self or others.



Job Requirement




  • Eng / BSc in Chemical, Process or Petroleum Engineering

  • Minimum 2 years experience with good knowledge of Oil & Gas production operations

  • Use of Production reporting Tools – NPDMS or similar

  • Skills: Diverse knowledge and skills (NPDMS, Advanced Excel, Oil & Gas Production Operations
