JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Representative will build relationships with customers, pitch products or services, negotiate sales prices, contact customers throughout the sales process, and answer any questions customers have about the organization's product/services.
- Informing potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports.
- Drive marketing campaigns to generate new leads.
- Conduct regular market research to identify customer preferences, competitive positioning, and market opportunities.
- Identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.
- Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Respond to customers' questions and escalate complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
- Work with policies for sales strategy.
- Maintain an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.
- Make cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers.
- Promote specific products as directed by the Sales and marketing manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any related field.
- Minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in the role.
- Experience in Agribusiness or farming-related field will be highly recommended.
- Strong I.T knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to speak at least one of the following languages at a basic level: Igbo, Hausa, or French
- Required age should be between 23 and 30 years’ old
- High level of commitment, honesty and enthusiasm.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, skills.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, report and research skills.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skill.
