Job Purpose

• This position uses a computer devise to programme a Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machine (Mould, CNC Lathe Machine) to processes metal materials to meet specifications by following a coded programmed instruction without manual operation.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Lathe Machines


• Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-code & M codes


• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance.


• Safety: Maintain Machine & work area cleanness and Safety. Implement all requirements of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and any other relevant management systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline


• 4- 6 years’ experience in a similar role


• Exposure to machining container glass mould is an added advantage


• Ability to read engineering drawing


• Strong understanding of CNC Operations & Programming with a commitment to precision and quality.
