Job Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Accountant with expertise in lending and payment.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations Management:

• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of all lending and payment transactions.


• Manage the reconciliation of loan portfolios, payment settlements, and related accounts.


• Monitor and optimize cash flow related to lending disbursements and payment collections.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and deliver timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


• Develop financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making for lending and payment operations.


• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Maintain adherence to industry regulations, including lending and payment-specific financial guidelines.


• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure policies and procedures are followed.


• Assist in audits by providing comprehensive documentation and resolving inquiries.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.


• Partner with technology teams to implement and enhance financial systems related to lending and payments.

Leadership and Collaboration:

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster a culture of excellence.


• Work cross-functionally with teams such as finance, operations, and compliance to align goals.

Compulsory Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in lending and payments.or financial sector


• Proven track record of managing financial processes in a financial services or fintech environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficient in accounting software and payment processing systems.


• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements.
