Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead growth initiatives for our security services business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the security industry, including regulatory requirements for importation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share and revenue streams in security services and other importation services.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Identify client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and competitors.
- Analyze market trends to position the company as a leader in security services and arms trade.
- Ensure all business activities comply with national and international laws regarding security.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and licenses.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s services and products.
- Oversee the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.al clients.
- Collaborate with local and international suppliers for importation of goods.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and compliance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, preferably in the security services.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international regulations security services and importation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
