Job summary 



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead growth initiatives for our security services business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the security industry, including regulatory requirements for importation.



Key Responsibilities 




  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share and revenue streams in security services and other importation services.

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.

  • Identify client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and competitors.

  • Analyze market trends to position the company as a leader in security services and arms trade.

  • Ensure all business activities comply with national and international laws regarding security.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and licenses.

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s services and products.

  • Oversee the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.al clients.

  • Collaborate with local and international suppliers for importation of goods.

  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and partners.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations and compliance, to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and performance.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, preferably in the security services.

  • In-depth knowledge of local and international regulations security services and importation.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
