Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.


• Configure, monitor, and optimize network and system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues in a timely manner.


• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard organizational data


• Maintain and update system and network documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.


• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.


• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and cybersecurity trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• Proven experience as a Systems Network Engineer or similar role.


• Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).


• Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and system administration (Windows, Linux, or Unix).


• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).


• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.


• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.


• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent, are a plus.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).


• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
