Job Description
PURPOSE
Ensure that all Mechanical equipment functions at maximum capacity and ensure effective utilization of Mill Capacity.
THE JOB
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance activities of all mechanical machinery, equipment, etc. in the Business Unit for the smooth running of the production activities to meet business goals.
- Assist in the installation of new mechanical machines and equipment by providing technical support, guidance, and oversight functions to the subordinate to ensure that projects are completed in a standard and timely manner.
- Execute and supervise the repair of motors, pumps, conveyors, and pneumatics issues in and around the mill for smooth operation and effectiveness
- Coordinate the mechanical activities of men and machines in the assigned shift for prompt and optimal operations.
- Assist in the inventory monitoring of mechanical spare parts to ensure the availability of the same for timely corrective maintenance of the milling machines/equipment.
- Perform any other activities as instructed by the Management.

- Be able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
- OND in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years' experience in a similar role.
