The Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory tests including soil tests, asphalt tests, concrete tests, field tests etc. to meet applicable construction standards.
Job Responsibilities
Preparation and maintenance of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate.
Assist with secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance.
Recording samples according to applicable construction standards.
Compiling and inputting testing results.
Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards.
Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification.
Any other assigned task(s).

Ability to run different kinds of laboratory test
Education & Experience
Minimum of School Certificate and/or OND, with experience working in a construction laboratory for Laboratory Assistants;
Degree/HND in Civil Engineering/Technology or Geosciences is required for Laboratory and Senior Laboratory Technicians.
Minimum 2 -5 years relevant working experience in construction laboratory in soil test, asphalt, concrete and filed test as Laboratory Technicians.
