Description

The fleet control supervisor will oversee and manage all fleet monitoring and control department ensuring efficiency, compliance and optimal performance. The role involves monitoring truck movements and utilizing smart lock and telematics systems to maintain control and security of the fleet. The supervisor will also lead the implementation of strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.


• Hands-on experience with GPS tracking, telematics systems and smart lock devices.


• Strong Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing fleet operations.


• Clear and effective communication skills coordinating with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibility

• Supervise and monitor fleet operations using GPS, telematics and smart lock systems to track vehicle locations and ensure security.


• Coordinate and oversee driver routes and adherence to operational timelines.


• Analyse fleet performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency'.


• Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns and operational challenges.


• Maintain Accurate records of vehicle movements.


• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for fleet control management.
