Job Summary




  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily financial operations, and supporting the overall accounting processes of the organization.



Job Responsibilities




  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and other financial records on a regular basis.

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Maintain and update financial records, including data entry into accounting systems.

  • Monitor and track company expenses, budgets, and financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings and remittances.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Handle petty cash management and expense reimbursements.

  • Provide financial insights and support to management for decision-making.

  • Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.



Job Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role in the manufacturing/engineering industry.

  • Proficient with Microsoft packages and accounting software.
