Project Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with project managers.
- Monitor project expenses to ensure they are within approved budgets.
- Implement cost control measures to minimize financial risks.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present periodic financial reports for each project, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, and variance reports.
- Ensure timely invoicing of clients and track payments to maintain positive cash flow.
- Provide regular updates to management on project financial performance.
Accounts Management:
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable for all projects.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions related to projects.
- Manage bank reconciliations and project-related financial audits.
- Mentor, coach and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, and support
- Act as a financial advisor to the company.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and tax laws in Nigeria.
- Maintain accurate financial records for all projects, ensuring they are audit- ready.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with the procurement team to manage project costs and supplier payments.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide financial guidance to project managers and other departments to improve project profitability.
Job Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree / HND in any relevant field
- Experience: 5-7 years.
