Role Overview
- As part of their growth strategy, they seek a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong background in risk asset products to join their team.
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the risk asset portfolio by identifying opportunities, acquiring clients, and managing relationships.
- The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of risk asset products, exceptional networking skills, and a proven ability to achieve targets in a competitive financial market.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Growth:
- Develop plans to grow the risk asset portfolio, including loans and credit products.
Find New Clients:
- Identify and attract new customers who need risk asset products.
Manage Existing Clients:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Assess Risks:
- Work with the risk and credit teams to review client applications and minimize risks.
Hit Targets:
- Meet or exceed sales goals for risk asset products.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the financial services sector, with a focus on risk asset products.
- Strong knowledge of credit products, lending processes, and risk assessment
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
