Our client, a reputable Microfinance Bank, is seeking a skilled and results-driven Deposit Mobilization Officer to grow and maintain a strong deposit portfolio.



The ideal role holder will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract deposits, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the bank's deposit targets are achieved.



Job Responsibilities:




  • Develop and execute strategies to attract deposits from individual and institutional clients.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for deposit growth.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Monitor competitors' activities and propose strategies to maintain competitiveness.

  • Promote and sell the bank’s deposit products, including savings accounts, fixed deposits, and investment options.

  • Organize marketing events and initiatives to attract new clients.

  • Ensure compliance with all account opening and deposit procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of client information and transactions.

  • Provide regular reports on deposit growth, client feedback, and market insights.



Person Specification:




  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in deposit mobilisation, marketing, or sales, preferably in a financial institution or microfinance environment.

  • Bsc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Sound knowledge of financial products and services.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking and microfinance sector.
