Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chicken Processing Plant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our chicken processing plant.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.


• Monitor production lines during production to identify and address any issues promptly.


• Record items from the production floor to the blast freezer, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management.


• Maintain proper records of bird weights, production volumes, and other relevant data.


• Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Conduct regular inspections of the production area to identify and address any potential hazards or quality issues.


• Provide training and guidance to production staff on best practices, quality standards, and food safety regulations.


• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that products meet the required standards.


• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Agric Science, Food Science, Food Safety and Hygiene, etc.).


• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the food processing industry.


• Proven experience in supervising and coordinating production staff.


• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.).


• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.


• Male candidates are preferred.
