Responsibilities

Financial Transaction Management:




  • Supported the preparation of business performance analysis over a period of time using pre-determined performance metrics based on head office requests.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software

  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to financial transactions



Budgeting and Financial Planning:




  • Collaborate with Account Supervisor to support the Head, of LPG & Sales Marketing in the development of the LPG unit budget



Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:




  • Ensure timely payment to vendors and prompt collections from customers.

  • Effective management of cash activities within the LPG terminal.

  • Perform regular reconciliations of receivables and payables, addressing any discrepancies to maintain accurate ledgers.

  • Monitor ageing reports to identify overdue accounts and follow up with customers on outstanding payments.

  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments and collections.



Inventory and Asset Management:




  • Support the Account supervisor to track and record assets including equipment depreciation and valuations.

  • Collaborate with Account supervisor to support the operations teams to monitor inventory levels



Data Analysis and Decision Support:




  • Provide data-driven insights and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, particularly for pricing, capital investments, and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial implications of operational and strategic initiatives within the business.



Liaison with External Stakeholders:




  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, vendors, and customers.

  • Work with other departments to address financial inquiries and support processes



Statutory and Regulatory Compliance:




  • Support AS to ensure adherence to internal policies and accounting standards during audits.

  • Support AS to ensure compliance with tax regulations, liaise with external auditors, and prepare documentation for audits.

  • Keep updated with industry-specific financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the business



Qualifications




  • Degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Relevant experience in Accounting.

  • Accounting Certification (ACCA, ICAN, CPA)

  • Experience: Minimum 5 Years



Remuneration




  • Salary: N12,000,000 - N22,000,000 Annually (Negotiable).
