Job Summary




  • A business development manager's job is to grow a business by identifying new opportunities, developing plans, and building relationships with clients.

  • They also work with other teams to implement marketing strategies and sales plans.



Responsibilities




  • Build relationships: Meet with clients and partners to build relationships and generate repeat business

  • Train staff: Provide training and mentoring to business development and sales staff

  • Monitor progress: Track sales progress and business-related invoices to ensure goals are met

  • Prepare reports: Write reports for management and provide feedback

  • Attend events: Participate in conferences and industry events to meet potential clients and learn about new trends

  • Identify opportunities: Research new markets, trends, and customers to find areas for growth

  • Set goals: Create plans for revenue growth and set goals for the business development team

  • Develop strategies: Create marketing strategies and sales plans to meet goals



Requirements




  • Must have relevant Certifications in Business management (memebership of professional body will be an advantage)

  • Candidates must possess the following skils: Communication skills, Relationship building, Negotiation skills, Market analysis, Sales strategy development, CRM proficiency, Presentation skills, Analytical skills, Project management skills, Teamwork.

  • Candidate should have knowledge of the mining industry.
