Job summary/Role description

• A Junior Tax Accountant is assisting for preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. The role involves assisting with tax planning and research to minimize tax liabilities,

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.


• Assist with tax planning and research to minimize tax liabilities.


• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.


• Collaborate with the financial team to streamline accounting functions and operations.


• Provide support during internal and external audits.


• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.


• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.


• Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability.


• Support audit and tax professionals during audits and examinations.


• Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions and updating financial. statements.


• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.

Experience

• 2-5 Years of experience in Tax accounting


• Previous experience in big 4 is preferable.


• Previous experience in Construction is preferable.


• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting & tax regulations.


• Good proficiency in Italian language is advantageous.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, is preferable.
