Job Description (Summary)



As a Business Development Officer, your responsibilities will include securing new property sales, lease, and management briefs, developing strategies for client satisfaction, and maintaining a robust client and tenant database. This role demands excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and a deep understanding of the Lagos real estate market.



Business Growth and Development:




  • Secure new property sales and lease briefs for the business.

  • Secure new property and facility management briefs.

  • Acquire new Valuation & Advisory and Research briefs for the company.



Client Relationship Management:




  • Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client complaints, ensuring swift resolution.

  • Manage and build a comprehensive client and tenant database.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications team to develop and disseminate marketing collaterals to prospects and clients.



Revenue and Performance Management:




  • Handle service charge and rent recovery processes efficiently.

  • Prepare and present regular client reports to ensure transparency and satisfaction.



Required Skills & Competencies:


























Technical Behavioral Strategic
Strong understanding of the Lagos real estate market. Professional appearance and sociable demeanor. Exceptional sales and business development skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create and implement effective client management strategies.
Knowledge and experience with CRM systems. Strong relationship management skills.  


Required Qualifications & Experience




  • A first degree in any discipline.

  • A minimum of 6–8 years of experience in real estate business development and client relations (preferably in a real estate firm).

  • Very strong salesperson

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Looks professional and presentable.

  • Strong knowledge of real estate market and industry

  • Sociable and professional

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools

  • Knowledge of Lagos real estate market

  • CRM knowledge and experience
