Job Overview
We are looking for energetic and results-driven Sales Representatives to promote and sell our high-quality bakery products. The ideal candidates will be responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market reach. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of bakery products, and the ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and engage potential customers, including supermarkets, grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering businesses, and wholesalers.
- Promote and sell a variety of bakery products such as bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations and tastings to potential buyers.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support in a professional manner.
Market Research & Intelligence:
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market needs, product demand, and pricing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for market expansion.
Sales Execution & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales records, invoices, and customer databases.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports, including sales performance, targets achieved, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with marketing and branding teams to develop promotional campaigns.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, product launches, and trade shows.
- Participate in sales training programs and continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Food Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of sales experience in the bakery, food, FMCG, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of bakery products, ingredients, and consumer preferences.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license (if required).
