Responsibilities

• Analysis of samples e.g. over-the-counter medicines, antibiotics, and packing material using instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, Mid IR, UV spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and GC/LC-MS


• Drafting analytical reports/methods and safety assessments


• Running and interpreting analytical data for validation and quality control


• Adhering and contributing to an effective quality system, ensuring work complies with ISO standards


• Routine maintenance, daily performance checks, and periodic calibration of equipment


• Checking the work of other Analysts


• Day-to-day laboratory housekeeping


• Leading projects and organizing staff to ensure key performance indicators are met


• Supporting general lab activities and delivery as required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / MSc/PGD


• Relevant qualification as applicable to the role applied for.


• Male or Female.


• Between 25-40 years old as at the time of application.


• Must be very detailed and self-driven


• In-depth knowledge of the MS-Office.
